Terms of Service

By using MetPower, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. Service Description

MetPower is a SaaS workforce-management platform for metalliser, slitter, vacuum-coating, aluminum-foil, and BOPP-film operations. It includes shift scheduling, leave management, NCR tracking, reporting, to-do tasks, and the Learn & Grow education suite (Met Train PRO, MetCost Pro, MRM Presentation, Time Study, SupSkill).

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older
• You must have a valid Indian mobile number capable of receiving SMS
• You must provide accurate registration information
• If registering as a Manager, you confirm authorization to register your company

3. Account Roles

• Super Admin — VKS Tech operations (manages registrations, platform health)
• Manager — registers a metalliser/slitter facility, manages employees and schedules
• Team Member — added by a Manager, views personal schedule, submits leave requests

4. Free Trial & Subscription

• New Manager accounts get a 30-day free trial after admin approval
• After trial, paid subscription required (pricing communicated separately)
• Trial may be extended at VKS Tech's discretion
• Subscription fees are payable in advance and non-refundable

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Keep your mobile number and login secure
• Provide accurate company & employee information
• Use MetPower only for lawful business purposes
• Respect privacy of team members
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the App
• Not upload offensive, illegal, or copyrighted material
• Not use MetPower to harass, surveil, or unfairly track employees beyond legitimate scheduling needs

6. Manager Responsibilities for Team Data

When a Manager adds Team Members:

• Manager is the data controller under DPDP Act 2023
• Manager must inform Team Members about MetPower usage and obtain consent where required
• Manager is responsible for accuracy of employee data
• VKS Tech acts as data processor on behalf of the Manager's company

7. Acceptable Use

You may NOT use MetPower to:

• Send spam or unsolicited WhatsApp messages
• Track employees outside legitimate work hours
• Discriminate based on protected characteristics
• Violate Indian labor laws (Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act, Industrial Disputes Act)
• Resell access to third parties without permission

8. Learn & Grow Modules

The Learn & Grow section provides educational tools (Met Train PRO, MetCost Pro, MRM, Time Study, SupSkill) developed by VKS Tech. These are provided free of charge as part of the MetPower experience to support upskilling in the metalliser industry. Content is for educational purposes only — not legal/financial/operational advice.

9. Intellectual Property

All MetPower branding, code, design, training content, and modules are owned by VKS Tech. You retain ownership of your company data uploaded to the App.

10. Service Availability

• We aim for 99% uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service
• Maintenance windows may cause temporary downtime
• Internet required for most features (limited offline mode available)

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse the App or harm other users
• Subscription expires without renewal
• Required by law enforcement

You may delete your account anytime. See Account Deletion.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

13. Limitation of Liability

• VKS Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Total liability shall not exceed subscription fees paid in past 12 months, or ₹10,000 — whichever is greater
• Not liable for SMS delivery failures by mobile carriers
• Not liable for WhatsApp messages — sent via "click to share" link, not auto-sent by us

14. Dispute Resolution

• Governed by Indian law
• Disputes resolved in courts of Delhi/NCR, India exclusively
• Before legal action, parties agree to good-faith resolution via email/WhatsApp for at least 30 days

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be notified in-app. Continued use = acceptance.
