How to delete your MetPower account and data

This page explains how to permanently delete your MetPower account, what data is removed, what may be retained, and how long the process takes. Provided in compliance with Google Play Store data safety requirements and India's DPDP Act 2023.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Open MetPower and log in with your registered mobile number
  2. Tap the ๐Ÿ‘ค Profile button (top-right)
  3. Scroll down โ†’ tap ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ Delete My Account
  4. Read the warning carefully
  5. Type the word DELETE (in capitals) to confirm
  6. Tap Delete My Account Permanently

โš ๏ธ IMPORTANT: Deleting a Manager account permanently deletes the entire company workspace, including all team members, schedules, leaves, NCRs, reports, and to-do items. This cannot be undone.

To transfer ownership instead of deleting, contact us before requesting deletion.

FAQ

Can I delete only some of my data?

Yes โ€” for partial deletion (e.g. delete a specific shift entry but keep your profile), email us specifying what you want removed.

Will my mobile be available for re-registration?

Yes. After complete deletion, you can register again with the same mobile number as a new user.

What about WhatsApp messages I've received?

WhatsApp messages are stored on your device and WhatsApp's servers, not ours. Deleting MetPower doesn't delete WhatsApp history. Delete those directly via WhatsApp.

Can someone else request deletion of my account?

No. Only you (verified via OTP to your registered mobile) or our Grievance Officer (in case of court order) can request deletion.
